Andi

Owner and Personal Trainer

Andi has been in the health and wellness field for more than 20 years. She started working for an executive gym downtown and in 2002 created Home Fit to give busy professionals convenient access to in home fitness.

Having been active in sports her whole life she is passionate about helping others become stronger both physically and mentally so they can enjoy life to its fullest.

Andi is a wife and mom to two boys. Health and fitness are an integral part of their life. Her boys love to join her while working out and practicing yoga. If you are looking for her outside of office hours, you may find her on a sports field or out and about with her family.

Pilates Instructor

After Tammy left 10+ years in the corporate finance world behind her, she opened herself up to a new world that allowed her to thrive in an area that she is very passionate about.

Her love for Pilates runs deep, with over 9 years of personal practice before becoming certified by Body Harmonics. Once she mastered Pilates she began certifying herself as a personal trainer understanding that combining core and strength work will bring her clients to a new level.

She is most fulfilled watching the changes that can happen in a client’s body as she works with them week after week to further connect with their bodies and mind.

Yoga Instructor

Yoga has been a part of Lamis’ life for more than 10 years. It has helped her build strength, grow more flexible, and address limitations, both physically and mentally. It has also taught her to never underestimate the power of practice.

Lamis completed her Hatha yoga training in Dubai, UAE. As a motivated and energetic yoga instructor, she enjoys inspiring others to improve their wellness, commit to long-term health and fitness goals, and adopt a positive attitude.

Lamis creates tailored sequences in her classes that complement individual objectives leaving students feeling refreshed, balanced, and mindful.

Ezequiel - Personal Trainer at Home Fit
Ezequiel

Personal Trainer

Ezequiel has been a personal trainer for seven years. He then became a boxing coach adding to his skill set as a trainer. This gave him guidance, structure and the tools to help his clients succeed even through the hardest challenges. While his passion for tennis, skiing/snowboarding and soccer add another dynamic to his client’s experience.

Balanced nutrition is a key focus for Ezequiel. He loves to share healthy recipes as well as tips and tricks to help you fuel your body to maximize your work outs.

Ezequiel’s passion is to teach people to become stronger mentally and physically, prevent injuries and live a happier, healthier life.

Laurie

Personal Trainer

For over 15 years Laurie has been a personal trainer promoting healthy habits, not restrictions. She believes it’s all about a balanced lifestyle!

Laurie raised her daughters in Bobcaygen before moving to Collingwood and finally settling in Toronto. She loves being active and enjoys all 4 season by participating in alpine and nordic skiing, snowshoeing, tennis, golf, running, kayaking and cycling. Laurie is always on the move.

Her belief is that there is no one size fits all approach to training. With your goals in mind, she creates a personalized fitness plan that helps you feel transformed, energized and proud of yourself!

Juliet - Yoga Instructor at home fit
Juliet

Yoga Instructor

Juliet came late to yoga, and she appreciates it all the more for that! From her training and the experience of her own body, she understands the special needs of mid-life, in addition to being able to offer classes that challenge and inspire those of all ages and body types. Her sense of humour and love of teaching bring ease and fun to her classes.

Juliet’s sessions are accessible but challenging. She is constantly broadening her skills, continuing her professional level training at Kripalu as well as exploring the Anusara, Ananda and Moksha yoga styles. She gives regular yoga workshops and especially enjoys helping beginners find joy and competence in their own bodies.
